Paul Edward Whitson, 59

Paul Edward Whitson, 59, left us on Sept. 18, 2006, 'to go to his heavenly home.' He was born in Tacoma, Wash., on Dec. 5, 1946.

He served his country in Germany, serving in the Reserve and the National Guard for a total of 12 years.

He worked for Boeing for 15 years, then moved to Montana because of a disability he had. He loved Montana.

Paul is survived by a brother in Tacoma, Wash., a sister in Puyallup, Wash.; and two sons, Daniel of Seattle, and Tim of Everett, Wash.

He is also survived by his loving wife, Geri Whitson. They were married on July 1, 1983.

Paul also has three stepdaughters, Roseann of Omak, Wash., April of Kalispell, and Mary of Tacoma.; nine stepgrandchildren, and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Paul loved hunting, fishing, 'D.D.' shopping, music, raising his birds and loving his dog, Ginger 'that went home with him to his eternal place in heaven.'

Paul was led to the Lord by a lady by the name of Mrs. Greene who began taking him at the age of 4 to church and Vacation Bible School.

Paul was loved by the community. The family appreciates everyone who became a part of Paul's life and of his family.

A memorial service for Paul will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life will immediately follow at the Church of the Nazarene on Whitefish Stage, Kalispell.
