The Kalispell Police Department
arrested 10 people between noon and 2 p.m. Wednesday, according to Chief Frank Garner. Arrests included a man wanted on a $40,000 warrant on a charge of assaulting a child; he was also suspected of possession of drug paraphernalia. A woman was arrested on suspicion of trying to pawn stolen jewelry. At least one underage drinker was arrested.
A girl was arrested for DUI on Second Street East. A man was arrested on suspicion of partner assault and burglary on Cooper Lane after allegedly entering a woman's house.
On Fifth Avenue West, two men were separated after making noise about a fight.
A dozen unwelcome skateboarders were told not to return to UPS property.
A drivers education instructor reported someone following him and his students.
On Third Avenue West was someone unwelcome in a home.
A purse containing jewelry and a driver's license was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Fifth Avenue West. Another purse was purloined from a vehicle on North Main Street.
The animal warden was called about a domestic ferret that invaded the Sizzler restaurant.
