Audubon info found on new Web site

The Flathead Audubon Society announces a new Web site at www.flatheadaudubon.org.

The Web site features a calendar of Flathead Audubon events and field trips, plus information on bird-related activities in the region. The site also includes:

-The Flathead Basin Birding Hotspots brochure that can be downloaded and printed.

-Bird of the Month articles.

-Pictures and materials for use by local educators.

-Maps, history and pictures of the Owen Sowerwine Natural Area.

-Copies of the past year's issues of the Pileated Post newsletter.

Hillary Smith of Pixel Solutions Inc., developed the site which is sprinkled with a variety of bird images and sounds.
