Jimmie P. Grobe, 79

Jimmie P. Grobe lost his valiant battle with cancer and "went home to our Lord" on March 24, 2006. He passed at home in Kalispell, surrounded by his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lillian L. Grobe, and his children, daughter, Jody Yeats of Kalispell, Steve Grobe of Fullerton, Calif., Gary Morgan of Portland, and Denise Scroggs and Sean Morgan, both of Kalispell.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 31, at the Christian Center. The viewing to be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, March 30, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.

"We left behind deeply mourn the loss of this amazing loving man. While we know the heavenly hosts celebrate such a bright star in their midst, Jim Grobe will be a loss felt by both family and friends alike. Our beloved Jim never met a mere acquaintance, because to know him is to truly love him."
