Kalispell growth prompts TeleTech to add jobs

| March 23, 2006 1:00 AM

TeleTech's customer management center in Kalispell will add as many as 200 positions soon because of an expanded relationship with TeleTech Holdings Inc.

"Right now, Kalispell is growing," Tor Bennstrom, executive director of TeleTech, said.

"Our bank clients love the region."

The bank, which Bennstrom considers one of the top three banks in the world, has been impressed especially with the Kalispell employees.

"Our client decided to extend its Kalispell operations because they have been supremely impressed by the talented and customer-centric workforce that they've discovered here," Bennstrom said in a press release.

Because of the new relationship with the bank, the Kalispell center will become a "dedicated facility." Instead of having multiple customers at the site, it will handle just TeleTech Holdings.

Employees in Kalispell will take classes about this transition every couple of weeks through June, he said. The first class is Monday.

TeleTech currently employs 500 people.
