Skateboarders were blocking the road

at the corner of Pioneer and Jellison, forcing dump trucks to go around them. Flathead County sheriff's deputies talked to the youths, and they took their skateboards elsewhere.

Several local fire departments responded to a structure fire in Cobbler Village that apparently was caused by a wood stove. The owner of the home used a garden hose to tackle the blaze before firemen arrived. No injuries were reported.
