Columbia Falls police arrested a woman

Thursday evening when she allegedly assaulted someone hired by her landlord to change the lock on her apartment.

Officers are investigating an accidental shooting on Martha Road. A rogue bullet reportedly tore through two apartments. No one was hurt.

Men bolted when a resident on Crescent Circle discovered them near a vehicle at 5 a.m. Friday.

A stereo was stolen from a vehicle on Columbia Drive.

Police were called on Wednesday about a woman found sleeping in an apartment building on Sixth Street West. She said she was cold and tired and it looked like a good place to sleep. She went to a friend's house.

Another counterfeit check was reported at a bank and a forged prescription was reported at a pharmacy.

A man was arrested for DUI on U.S. 2 and another man was arrested for partner assault on Diane Road.

On Seventh Street West, an officer mediated an argument between a mother and daughter. Unrelated, but in the same place, a man was arrested on charges of trespassing, resisting arrest, and obstructing an officer.
