Ryan Michael Milan was born July 17, 1979. He died July 19, 2006 in Rock Springs, Wyo. He was 27.

Ryan was born in Brewster, Wash., but at the age of 5 he moved with his family to the Flathead Valley, there to remain for many years. He attended elementary school in Somers, and partially at Creston School. He homeschooled for the rest of his education.

To understand the beautiful person that Ryan was, would take a lifetime. Those who did know him, loved him because he was a deep well of giving.

Ryan was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness when he was 14.

He was an accomplished guitar player, and dabbled at drums, and his voice and lyrics rang deeply to those that were able to hear and will continue to.

The surviving family of Ryan's include his parents, Michael S. and Theresa D. Milan who reside in Rock Springs; and his wife, Kristy K. Milan of Kalispell. He also leaves behind his two pets, Elvis and Bourbon.

Ryan's siblings include older sister, Autumn Dixon, of North Carolina, younger sisters, Moriah and Bethany Milan, of Rock Springs; maternal grandmother 'Granny Todo,' of Sultan, Wash.; grandmother- and grandfather-in-law, Jean and Marvin Ingraham, of Kalispell; in-laws, Mark and Dawn Ingraham, of Kalispell; sister-in-law, Lisa, and Matthew Culley, of Kalispell; maternal aunts, Caryl Munn and Bonnie Hausauer, of Sultan; maternal uncles, Joe Munn, Robert Hausauer, Donald Hausauer and Richard Hausauer, of Washington; paternal aunts, Melba Crowder, Hope Milan and Paige Milan; paternal uncles, Jacob Milan and Jeffery Milan; and many dear cousins, nieces and friends who looked past the quiet exterior to the beautiful complicated person that was Ryan.

Cremation took place in Wyoming.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Bigfork, 100 Vista Drive, on Montana 35. Marc Milisavljevch will give the funeral talk.
