Kalispell police took a report of someone sitting in the street on Main Street at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. It turned out to be a mannequin posed there. There was a report of someone lying on the ground by the trash container behind Albertsons. That was a real, live person. So was a woman who went prone at the entrance to the Salvation Army.

A man who didn't want to leave a place on First Avenue West North did.

Someone reported that a man got out of his car and walked away and still hadn't returned three hours later. Police did not find that to be especially suspicious.

A woman was arrested for trespassing on Second Avenue East North.

An officer counseled a woman who wanted to tell someone that a spirit visited her and told her about a murder.

Someone siphoned gas from vehicles on Buttercup Loops.

A woman was arrested for assault after a disturbance was reported on Bluestone. A man turned himself in on two warrants from the county.

A mother and daughter had a disagreement that didn't result in any charges on Fifth Avenue West. A man and woman had a verbal exchange in a vehicle on Fourth Avenue East.

Tools were taken from a garage on Third Avenue East North. Lortab was stolen on Third Street West.

Officers checked out a report of loud music Monday night on North Meridian Road. A few minutes later, a caller reported still hearing singing.

A man tried to crawl into a window on Rising Sun Circle.

Three loud, wrestling men made too much noise for the hour at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. Nothing was wrong.

Someone who was locked in a changing room at The Summit was freed.

A woman's driving habits and reading habits overlapped Tuesday.
