Whitefish police

Whitefish police went to Whitefish Lake Friday afternoon after someone called 911 about a boat sinking. The owners of a new boat reportedly hadn't put a stopper in the vessel and were able to limp it over to the state park before it took on too much water.

A man walking his dog at 1:30 a.m. on Railway Avenue Friday couldn't fend off an attacking dog that seriously injured the man's pet.
