The Tropical Montana Marimba Ensemble is a lively group of musicians offering traditional dance music from Zimbabwe as well as original tunes from the Flathead Valley.

The group is a colorful and energetic ensemble playing marimbas from soprano to bass, drums and other percussion and wind instruments.

With Patrice Manget on vocals, Chuck Cummings on piano and Fred Jones on saxophone, La Nota plays an engaging mix of classic jazz, signature blues and eclectic pop.

Manget met Cummings and Jones when she joined Steve "Big Daddy" Kelly's Big Easy Bayou Review in 2000. The trio finally got together lat year to perform the jazz tunes they've always loved.
