Badrock Fire Department

Badrock Fire Department, Canyon Quick Response Unit, and Columbia Falls ambulance were called Sunday afternoon when someone broke a leg on a dirt bike on the Columbia Mountain trail.

Bigfork Fire and Medical and the Ferndale Fire Department were needed a vehicle accident with injuries Sunday on Montana 35.

The Marion Fire Department was needed when a transformer sparked on Idaho Hill Road.

The Evergreen Fire Department was needed when a hose leaked at Northern Energy Propane. The crew was also needed when a man and a horse accidentally crashed their heads together on Bayou Road.

Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation firefighters responded to a fire on Plum Creek land in the Hoffman Draw area west of Kalispell. The fire was estimated at three acres by late afternoon. Elsewhere, the Forest Service put out a small lightning-caused fire on the Tally Lake Ranger District.
