Whitefish police investigated a disturbance complaint on Karrow Avenue. There, a woman said her cat is fat and so she walks it up and down the stairs. The noise compels a neighbor to yell obscenities. An officer suggested a little more tolerance.

Noise was also a problem on Kalispell Avenue and outside the Remington bar.

The animal warden impounded two dogs that haven't been getting regular attention on Second Street West since their owner died. A Fairway Drive resident denied beating a dog.

A man on Iowa Avenue was arrested on warrants for partner assault and obstructing an officer. Another domestic complaint on Houston Drive reportedly involved a man in his 80s.
