Kalispell police

Kalispell police are looking for a couple after receiving a report from the Department of Family Services that they took their 6-week-premature baby from the hospital and disappeared.

A storm Wednesday evening knocked out the power at a homeless shelter, dropped a tree in an alley near Oregon Street, and stripped a power light from a pole on Sunnyview Drive and U.S. 93. That was just a test-run for Thursday afternoon's storm.

A woman left her brand-new license plates from the DMV on the top of her vehicle and drove off. She was able to find one later.

If you have some illegal drug business to conduct, outside on a city street isn't a brilliant choice. Also, lower your voice.

A disturbance was reported on College Avenue.

Someone apparently tried to start a fire with newspapers outside of Scarff auto center. Tires were slashed in the parking lot outside the Sheriff's Office. A Main Street business was graffitied.

An American flag was stolen from a porch on Third Avenue East.

Someone reported a death threat that was heard second-hand.
