Wednesday evening's storm caused problems that were reported to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office, also.

Someone called to say the county Parks and Recreation dock in Lakeside was coming apart after being pummeled by waves. A 911 hang-up call wasn't an emergency, but was activated by the storm.

A man has been told before to take his dyed red hair and brown pants out of Super 1. He returned there Wednesday, anyway.

No one was found near a vehicle rollover Wednesday night on Kinshella Road. Tracked to a home on Conrad Drive, the teenage driver reportedly fled when an officer called. No one was seriously hurt when a vehicle flipped on U.S. 2 or when cars collided Thursday afternoon in Evergreen or at a crash in Somers near the White Oak hotel.

The food bank was notified when an elk was hit by a vehicle on the North Fork Road.

A deputy checked out a complaint about activities on Tahoe Drive. Everyone there was old enough to be doing what they were doing, but also old enough to know that 2 a.m. is too late to be making such noise. They agreed to quiet down.

A girl was taken into custody after a disturbance on Helena Flats Road. A couple's disturbance on U.S. 2 resulted in a man's arrest on a warrant.

It was at 3 a.m. in Forest Acres that a man looked in one resident's windows and then tried to open the door to another. He was gone when an officer arrived. Suspicious activity was reported at the Korner Kitchen in Bigfork, where a man peeked into the business's windows. He told an officer he thought it was a 24-hour restaurant and wanted something to eat. More suspicions were reported in the Conlin's parking lot, but it turned out to be just a couple of people talking.

A rape report is under investigation.

A good Samaritan found a dog Wednesday on Prairie View Drive and devoted hours to cutting off the animal's matted fur and worrying over sores on the dog's body. The dog was turned in to the animal shelter. A cat was shot with a BB on Eighth Avenue East.

A burglary was reported at AAA Copiers on U.S. 2 East. An attempted break-in was reported at a home on Southside Drive.

A missing 4-year-old boy was found in his living room on Judith Road, asleep under some blankets.

Forged checks were reported in Coram.
