Jack Stuart Horner, 20

Jack Stuart Horner, 20, of Lincoln, died Dec. 28, 2005, at Ottawa Gulch south of Marysville in a logging accident.

He was born Jan. 27, 1985, to Stuart Horner and Debbie Wood in Great Falls. He was raised in Lincoln, where he attended public schools and graduated in 2004.

Jack was a partner with his father in Blackfoot Logging.

He enjoyed trout fishing on the Blackfoot River.

The trout in the Blackfoot now have a reprieve.

He also enjoyed attending car shows with his father and brother, playing guitar with his friends and being outdoors in the Blackfoot Valley.

He is survived by his parents; grandparents, Virginia Horner of Great Falls, and Lily and Dick Wood of Columbia Falls; his brother, Matt Horner, of Lincoln; aunts and uncles, Joe and Sharon Horner, David and Kelly Horner, and Michael Horner, all of Great Falls, Vicki and Bruce West of Lincoln, and Doug and Anna Wood of Columbia Falls; cousins, Brenda and Steve Hudspeth, Joe Horner Jr., David Horner, Josh Horner, Grant Hudspeth, and Jake Horner, all of Great Falls, Mike Horner of Port Orchard, Wash., Joey Horner of Woodburn, Ore., Brynn West and Jeret West of Lincoln, and Heiddi Wood and Mike Wood of Columbia Falls.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, at Lincoln Community Hall in Lincoln.
