The Flathead County Sheriff's Office was occupied Sunday with parents having problems with sons. A woman on Ridgewood Drive reported her two big sons fighting, but after one left, she didn't want to give their names or have a deputy respond. Another woman, on Montana 206, said she was evicting a son and he has been selling her husband's belongings. An out-of-control son was reported on Vista Lane.

Wayward vehicles were reported in a ditch on Montana 40, where a woman was arrested for DUI; in another ditch on Sweebe Lane; off the road on Political Hill Road, where one was poised to crash into trees if the driver took his foot off the brake; and showing a power pole who's boss on Birch Grove Road, where the power pole conceded in a shower of sparks and flames.

A serious accident was reported near Marion, where a vehicle rolled over and extrication equipment was needed to free an injured person.

A man was cited after breaking a window on Montana 35.

A resident on Airport Road doesn't know how to keep those two boys from playing in her barn. A deputy had some suggestions.

When contacted by a deputy, a man who had reportedly threatened to kill himself denied that he intended to do that. He just wanted to see whether his girlfriend loves him, he said.

Someone buying a cell phone discovered that a stranger has been using his identity.

A credit card was reported stolen on Big Mountain.

A bank bag that was stolen from a business was found on Montana 35 near the Flathead River Bridge. It contained checks.

A burglary attempt was reported on U.S. 2 near Columbia Falls, where a window was broken and footprints were left.

A construction trailer was broken into on Timber Rock Road.
