Someone called

| February 19, 2006 1:00 AM

Someone called the Flathead County Sheriff's Office at 8:30 Saturday morning to report a suspicious item just before the curves heading west on Three Mile Drive.

According to the report, a plastic bag with steam rising from it was in the ditch on the left-hand side of the road. Deputies were unable to locate it.

A woman called the sheriff's office Friday night wanting to talk to someone about a man buying alcohol for underage drinkers.

A little after 10 p.m. Friday, someone reported three drunken kids standing outside a trailer on Frontage Road. When deputies arrived, they determined the report was unfounded.

About half an hour later, though, the sheriff's office received a complaint of a disturbance at a nearby trailer on Frontage Road. The woman caller said the neighbors were screaming at her because they thought she'd called the police on them.

On Saturday morning, a woman said someone drove by and threw garbage at her while she was driving down Montana 82.

Someone reported a hit and run on Farm to Market Road. Their mailbox was damaged, but whoever did it left their license plate behind.
