Five to join WHS Hall of Fame

Five new inductees to the WHS athletic Hall of Fame will be introduced on Saturday before the home basketball game with Bigfork.

The tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m.

The 2006 class of inductees includes some legends in Whitefish High School athletics from a wide range of activities. They are:

 Martin Hale a nationally recognized skier, who lead the Bulldogs to state championships in 1952-55, and was also an accomplished trackster.

 Bubby Lodinoff, a 1964 WHS graduate, who still holds track records for shot put and javelin.

 Ron Kuchenbrod has been a long time supporter of WHS activities, a past coach and volunteer in a variety sports over the years.

 Pat Bauer, a 1991 WHS graduate, will be recognized for his many accomplishments - two trips to playoffs in football and a state championship in basketball all while finishing as salutorian for his class.

 Sally Sisk-Miller, who was a two-time state champion golfer and an all-state basketball and and all-state volleyball player.

A reception and open house will be held in the foyer to honor these new inductees and everyone is welcome to attend.

The five inductees will also be honored and officially inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Bulldog Booster Auction on March 24th.

Tickets to the booster auction are available from high school coaches and members of the booster club.
