Montana Highway Patrol responded to a report of a hit and run on U.S. 93 South near Pierce Manufacturing Co., where a pedestrian was down. Troopers later determined the man hadn't been hit by a car after all but had a medical issue.

Kalispell Fire Department put out a smoking RV on West Reserve Drive. People were inside the vehicle when dispatch received the call; no one was seriously injured.
