A coffee shop employee returned from a restaurant to discover a boy attempting to steal money. The would-be thief ran away, but Whitefish police caught him and took him to juvenile detention.

When police approached a 24-year-old man fighting in front of the Great Northern Bar and Grill, he tried to fight them, too. He was arrested for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested a 48-year-old man on a Montana Highway Patrol warrant and for driving with a suspended license.

Police are looking for a man who assaulted a woman on Obrien Avenue Friday night.
