Bobbi (Barbara) Schultz, 66, "went home to be with the Lord Jesus" on Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, at her home in Kalispell. She was born in Grayling, Mich., on Sept. 23, 1940, to Lumen and Marjorie (Powrie) Legg. She grew up in Roscommon, Mich.

Bobbi married Denny Schultz on Nov. 9, 1962, and from this marriage was born three sons. The family moved to Kalispell in 1975.

Bobbi enjoyed gardening, kayaking, redecorating, skiing, and even taught skiing on Big Mountain for 10 years. She loved doing anything and everything for other people.

Bobbi demonstrated the reality of God's undergirding presence in her valiant struggle with multiple myeloma. Her incredible faith through extensive treatments and pain was a shining example to all those around her. In spite of these unrelenting difficulties, she always reflected the peace and joy of the Lord through her quiet dignity and grace; always with a warm smile for all she encountered.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert, Pete and Louie; and one sister, Carol Legg.

Bobbi is survived by her husband, Denny Schultz, of Kalispell; three sons, Victor Schultz and Perry Schultz, both of Kalispell, and Andrew Schultz of Lake in the Hills, Ill.; four sisters, Betty Hoeltzel of Marshall, Mich., Kathy Schenck and husband, Dennis, of Sutton's Bay, Mich., Joan Lucia of Palm Desert, Calif., and Cindy Larimore and husband, Tom, of Tehachapi, Calif.

Memorial services for Bobbi will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at the Easthaven Baptist Church, 2010 Whitefish Stage Road, in Kalispell, with Pastor Scott Keller of Aletheia Christian Fellowship officiating.

The family suggests memorials be sent in Bobbi's name to Iris Ministries, P.O. Box 493995, Redding CA 96049-3995.

Johnson Mortuary and Crematory is caring for Bobbi's family.
