Mee's 22 points spark Libby

HAMILTON - Jim Mee hit five treys in the contest and finished with 22 points to help Libby roll over Frenchtown 49-31 Saturday.
Mee hit three 3-point field goals in the opening quarter as the Loggers jumped out to a 15-8 edge on the final day of the Southwestern A versus Northwestern A Tipoff boys basketball tournament.
Mee was the lone player to score in double figures for Libby.

The Indians were led by D.J. Fish's 12 points.

HAMILTON - Columbia Falls moved to 2-0 on the season with a victory over Hamilton.
"We played a lot better tonight, a lot more composed," said Columbia Falls coach Cary Finberg.
"The kids shared the basketball and our turnovers were way down."

CORVALLIS - For the second-straight day, offensive balance by Columbia Falls was the key to success.
The Wildkats (2-0) had four players reach double figures Saturday in a victory over Stevensville at the Northwestern A versus Southwestern A Tipoff Tournaments.
The other tipoff tournament games follow.
Jessica Boyer led the way with 15 points while Beth Karper added 13. Jylisa Fields and Callie Spencer both finished with 10.
Columbia Falls had three in double digits in Friday's tournament victory.
"When you get 3-4 kids in double figures, you have a good chance to win the game," said Columbia Falls coach Kris Salonen. "It was a great weekend for us."
