Flathead County Sheriff's Office arrested Jimmy Hogan, 27, of Columbia Falls Friday. He is accused of raping a woman whose car broke down after midnight Thursday morning.

Bigfork Fire Department and Swan Search and Rescue were called to help people in trouble on a pontoon near Woods Bay Thursday evening. It was towed to shore. The sheriff's office assisted stranded boaters on Elk Island in the Hungry Horse Reservoir.

A domestic dispute was reported on Montana 35. A man was arrested after a family problem on Bierney Creek Road.

If you're going to call and demand drugs for the money you paid, try to dial the right number.

A disturbance at Forest Acres was over a deposit on some property.

A wind storm Thursday night left trees and branches dangling over power lines. On Delrey Road, power went out when lines went down, and then someone who fell off a ladder went to the hospital.

On Montana 206, 14 1/2 head of cattle wandered free; a calf roamed in the road. They herded themselves away before an officer arrived.

A couple who camped in the Town Pump parking lot near Columbia Falls refused to leave until a deputy told them to. Other people found out that Presentine Bar on the Flathead River is not a camp site either.

It was at about 9 p.m. Thursday when a resident on Second Avenue East found a strange man passed out and snoring on the lawn.

Two girls got in a fight on West Cottonwood Drive. One hurt her finger. Neither wanted to press charges.

Two people reported gunshots on Bench Drive, but deputies found nothing wrong there.

A man roamed through Mountain Meadow RV Park until someone saw him and then he fled. Two men peeked in the windows of a home on West Cottonwood Drive after midnight on Thursday. They've been there before.

A man said someone attacked him with a knife at West Glacier KOA. He had minor cuts on his hands and face.

There was a patient and there was a report of a car crash on Montana 83, but there was no vehicle when officials arrived early Friday morning. The patient went to the hospital.

On Elk Trail, someone heard his front door close and a vehicle take off. There was no sign of anything missing. There was on Dawn Drive, though, where two pistols have vanished.

Near Columbia Falls, some people pulled up the carpet in their house to find pools of blood and bloody hand prints beneath. This is under investigation.
