Shirley Ann Adams-Hamond, 72

Shirley Ann Adams-Hamond, 72, was born Jan. 12, 1934, in Sheldon, Iowa. She passed away April 15, 2006, in Spokane.

She is survived by her children, Brian Hamond, Wanda Adams, Norma Buzzard and Tyre Adams; 11 grandchildren; and siblings, Paul Adams, Erwin Adams, Barbara Hicks and Patricia Peterson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward "Ted" and Laura Adams; and brother, Hugh Adams.

Her hobbies included knitting, sewing, jewelry making, picture painting, all arts and crafts, gardening, water fights, badminton and music.

Her greatest love was her children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, and the Lord.

Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. today, April 19, at Riplinger Funeral home, 4305 N. Division, in Spokane. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at Riplinger Funeral Home, with interment afterward at Holy Cross Cemetery.
