Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police went to Seventh Street West, where a boy reported that his brother assaulted him with a baseball bat and numchucks. The 20-year-old man was charged with aggravated assault.

Officers were assisted by sheriff's deputies when an elderly, disoriented woman reportedly drove onto the railroad tracks near Meadowlake Sunday night. Trains were held until she and her vehicle could be removed.

Someone stole the cash register from the Sportsman's bar.
