Lakers AA sweeps Miners in Butte
BUTTE — Kostya Hoffman allowed one run on three hits and struck out three batters through six innings to help the Kalispell Lakers (3-1) blow out the Butte Miners 11-1 on Saturday in Butte in the first of two games.
Jack Corriveau hit a home run in the second inning, one of five runs for the Lakers in that frame.
The Lakers added three runs in the fifth and sixth innings to run up the score.
Corriveau recorded three RBI, Kobe Burland two, and Connor Drish added one.
The Lakers had five hits. Drish was 2 for 3 at the plate.
Ryan Burt pitched three innings for Butte and took the loss.
