Butter knife attack unsuccessful

A woman told the Kalispell Police Department her roommate tried to stab her with a butter knife. The victim of the butter knife attack decided to stay with a friend until her belligerent housemate moves out.

A man hit his girlfriend and then “took off” behind a motel. Law enforcement got a hold of him shortly after the incident.

Tensions boiled over in an unusual setup in which a woman, her ex-husband and her ex’s new girlfriend all lived in the same residence. The ex-wife said the new girlfriend was “screaming and ranting inside the residence” before the ex-wife left for work.

A green minivan was spotted driving in the middle of a road, and when a woman checked to see if the driver was all right he asked her if “they were vibrating.” He was taken to a hospital for an evaluation.

A man said he left his bike at a friend’s house and the residents of the house thought it was abandoned, so they gave it to the police. The bike owner wanted to pick up the bike from the police, but he learned it had apparently been picked up by someone else earlier in the day.

A father said “a guy came into [his] backyard…trying to pick a fight with his kids.”

Someone thought there were “young kids vaping or smoking” in a skate park. It turned out the “kids” were actually over the legal age to smoke.

A thief with unfortunate timing tried to open all of a woman’s car doors outside a casino just as she was leaving. She said she also saw him try to open other vehicles so she called the police to report him. Law enforcement met the man outside the casino.

A property owner called the police because he “wanted to know his rights” regarding a petitioner outside his property. There was a woman outside his business with a table set up to advocate for legalizing marijuana. The business owner wanted her to leave, but she said she was on public property so “she can be there.”

A man lost a bottle of Valium at a location and called the police during his search to recover the pills.

A female showed up “yelling and crying” in someone’s front yard. The homeowner said she looked like a “tweeker” and wanted her to move along. When law enforcement checked on her, she seemed fine and was sitting on the grass, but she moved on nonetheless.

A woman stated her neighbor was bullying her. She said the other woman was screaming at her, although she didn’t know what she was screaming about.
