Twins A takes down Loggers

WHITEFISH – Trenton Tyree drove in five runs with a single, double and triple Wednesday as the Glacier Twins A team scored a 13-3 win over the Libby Loggers Wednesday.

The Twins (2-2) had 15 hits and stole seven bases in just five innings of work. The game ended in the bottom of the fifth under the 10-run mercy rule.

Mason Peters also had three hits, including a double, and scored three times for the Twins. He also threw three perfect innings on the mound to get the win.

Zach Veneman had a pair of singles; Cade Morgan and George Robbins each stroked doubles. Payton Davisson, Devin Beale and Austyn Andrachick all scored twice.

Libby managed one hit, by Quade Anderson. Trey Thompson and Tuckker Masters each drove in runs during Libby’s three-run fourth inning.
