| May 26, 2020 1:00 AM

An agitated woman was in the Kalispell Police Department lobby seeking assistance with finding her towed vehicle. She was “rambling” about how officers are supposed to protect and serve, but that they just put on their uniform to “feel sexy.” The woman was given options about getting her car back, but “wasn’t happy” about it.

A man returned from a day of fishing to find the front door to his house wide open and an open bottle of rum, but his wife was nowhere to be found. He was concerned for her safety. It was determined that since they’re getting a divorce, she might just be trying to stay away from her soon-to-be ex.

A woman was kicked out of her house by her boyfriend and wanted to know about her legal options.

Afraid that someone was inside her house, a woman locked herself in her bathroom and called police. Officers investigated and didn’t find anything suspicious happening.

An iPad was lost somewhere on the bike path south of Kalispell.

People in a pickup were seen exchanging money and something else, multiple times. The caller suspected a drug deal was going down.

A suspicious man in a van was asking people for money.

A caller reported a dog that had been barking for about five days. The dog’s owner hadn’t been seen for a few weeks.

Shots were heard, followed by a vehicle speeding away. Officers investigated the incident at a local motel.

The back window of a van was smashed out. There were no suspects in the alleged crime.

A shoplifter was accused of “ticket swapping” at a clothing store. She paid 98 cents for two swimsuits.

A caller asked police to pick up a syringe she found in her yard.
