No. 27026 INVITATION TO BID FLATHEAD RIVER PUMPING PLANT ELECTRICAL SAFETY UPGRADES SOLICITATION/SPECIFICATIONS CSKT/DEWR 20-01 The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes desire to enter in to a Construction Agreement with a general contractor to demolish and/or remove existing electrical equipment and conductors to allow for electrical safety upgrades to the Flathead River Pumping Plant. The Flathead River Pumping Plant is located at approximately 2.0-miles southwest of Polson, MT along the Flathead River. Access to the Flathead River Pumping Plant is off MT State Route 354 (aka: Kerr Dam Road). Specific work to completed includes, but is not limited to: demolition of existing equipment and conductors, excavation and backfill of new conductors, installation of equipment and terminations and connections to new equipment on the load side of the switchgear, coordinating activities with Mission Valley Power, installation of new low and medium voltage conductors within new and existing conduit, install new equipment, and perform commissioning of new equipment. Due to operational constraints and COVID-19 sensitivities, Contractors will not have physical access to the Flathead River Pumping Plant site during the bidding period. Contractor sealed-bids must be submitted on the supplied bid forms and received at the address listed in the solicitation for bid opening no later than 2:00 P.M. (local time), June 23, 2020. This is an Indian Preference Bid project with Indian Preference provisions. The selection of the successful contractor and award of this project will be per the provisions of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Indian Preference Ordinance 101A. Tribal Contractors who wish to receive Indian Preference must obtain certification by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Indian Preference Office as a legitimate Indian-owned business prior to the submission of bids. Proof of Indian Preference Certification must be included with your bid in the form of a copy of the Certificate issued by the Indian Preference Office. Be advised that evidence of your membership or affiliation with a Tribe does not constitute Indian Preference Certification. No. 27052 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Flathead County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) will receive project bids for the demolition and disposal of structures located at the former CHS Agronomy Center property located at 55 4th Ave EN, Kalispell, MT 59901. This project includes the demolition of structures comprising Buildings 2-4, and the removal and proper disposal of all debris.
