Chris Janson to perform at Northwest Montana Fair

Country singer Chris Janson will highlight the entertainment at the Northwest Montana Fair at this year’s concert planned Wednesday, Aug. 19, at the Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell.

Janson, a platinum-selling recording artist, is known as a high-octane entertainer, and is a multi-instrumentalist and award-winning singer-songwriter. He’s best known for his hits “Drunk Girl,” Fix a Drink,” “Good Vibes” and new mega-hit “Done.”

Janson, 34, has recorded three full-length albums, “Buy Me a Boat,” “Everybody” and “Real Friends” and has charted nine singles on Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay. The Missouri native moved to Nashville after finishing high school to embark on his music career.

Also featured at the fair concert will be the Flathead’s “Got Talent” winner and the Copper Mountain Band.

Gates will open at 6 p.m. on Aug. 19, with the show at 7:15 p.m., according to the Northwest Montana Fair & Rodeo Facebook page.

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. today, May 14; go to nwmtfair.com for further information. According to the website, physical distancing will be applied to all grandstand seating. Reserved seats have been “pre-grouped” to fit family needs, with a separation of two empty seats between groups. General admission tickets have been limited to allow for distancing in all general admission areas on a first com, first served basis.

The Northwest Montana Fair 7 Rodeo will be held Aug. 19-23, and includes the concert, three nights of PRCA rodeo action, carnival rides, fair food and exhibits.
