Walk-in services resume at Kalispell city offices

| May 3, 2020 1:00 AM

The Kalispell City Hall and Parks and Recreation lobbies will reopen to the public beginning Monday, May 4, with respective safety measures for social distancing in place per guidance from the Governor’s Phase 1 Directive related to COVID-19.

While walk-in services will resume, the city continues to encourage the public to use the extensive online services available on the city website at www.kalispell.com. Due to the social distancing guidelines in the directive, council chambers will continue to remain closed to the public during City Council meetings. The public can participate by providing comment via publiccomment@kalispell.com. As usual, the meeting will be streamed live on Cable Channel 190, and online at www.kalispell.com/480/Meeting-Videos.

Municipal tennis courts will also open Monday, May 4, with signs reminding the public to comply with social distancing measures. Begg Dog Park is scheduled to reopen on May 9, allowing for annual spring turf maintenance to be completed. Signs will be added reminding the public to comply with social distancing measures.

While other city parks are currently open, bathrooms and playground equipment will continue to remain closed. Additional updates for recreation programs are being provided on the Kalispell Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
