The Flathead County Community Health Center will soon receive grant funding from the state to be put toward local coronavirus screening and testing, acquiring medical supplies and boosting telehealth capacity.

About $810,000 will be split between 14 community health centers throughout Montana, with Flathead’s center poised to receive a little more than $60,000. Other centers that will receive funding include the Lincoln County Community Health Center in Libby, Marias Health Care Services in Shelby and Community Health Partners Clinic in Livingston.

The grant funding is provided by the Health Resources and Services Administration in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
