Laura Barrera-Lipe, 70

Laura Barrera-Lipe, age 70, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020 after battling cancer for over a year, two aggressive leukemias.

She was born and raised in Michigan, moved to Southern California, where she met her wonderful husband of 23 years. They moved to Montana in 2004, loving the wilderness and all the creatures that make it so. They sold their “private piece of heaven” in Eureka and moved to Bigfork to be closer to treatment.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Lipe, and incredible sister, Gail Hoefflin, out of Ohio. She leaves behind many memories of her acts of kindness, grace, thoughtfulness, unconditional love, inner-strength, and an unwavering love for God.

She has requested to be cremated, with no funeral or church service. Condolence cards are welcome to be sent to her husband; Bill Lipe, 1107 Boat Club Drive, Bigfork, MT 59911.
