State Special Olympics Winter Games in Whitefish canceled

The Glacier Area Winter Games set to take place March 20 at Whitefish Mountain Resort have been canceled due to concerns around the spread of the coronavirus.

At the direction of Special Olympics International, Special Olympics Montana has suspended all sport training and competition activities and other programs involving our athletes through March 31, 2020.

Special Olympics Montana is staying close to this situation and is working with Special Olympics International to re-evaluate after March 31, according to a press release.
