Cold shoulder given in heater hoopla

Someone was given the cold shoulder on Shady Lane when they allegedly told Flathead County Sheriff’s Office about a heater wand belonging to one tenant’s unit, was plugged into another tenant’s unit for the last week and when they talked to tenants no one was “owning up to it.”

A man’s girlfriend reportedly told him a man who appeared to be homeless and looked “drugged out,” parked in the driveway and was knocking on the doors and windows of their house on Parliament Drive in Kalispell, then sat in his car for 20 minutes. Before leaving, she reportedly took pictures. The boyfriend called back to cancel the complaint because he knew the person.

A man calling from outside a house on Good Country Road in Kalispell claimed his wife accused him of assault the previous night and today, she was supposedly extremely intoxicated and hit and kicked him. He reportedly didn’t want to press charges, he just wanted her removed when the line disconnected. On a call back, he was reportedly very upset, leaving in a vehicle with his mother; he did not want to answer dispatcher’s questions and hung up. Officers made contact with the wife, who claimed he showed up with his mom and a verbal argument ensued. Officers allegedly left a voicemail for the man, advising him to be more cooperative with dispatchers and law enforcement when he calls 911.

Someone with Fish, Wildlife and Parks called deputies from Columbia Falls to advise them they would be doing “boat work” and fish surveys around Tea Kettle boat launch.

Products were retrieved after a woman attempted to steal a cart full of items from a store on Third Avenue.

A man who was reportedly “very high” left his wallet and a syringe in a bathroom on Osprey Business Court in Columbia Falls.

A window was smashed and wires cut at a Scout Lane business in Columbia Falls.

An employee of a group home reportedly said residents were concerned that three large dogs between Airport Road and Merganser Drive in Kalispell were being neglected because they were allegedly always kept in a kennel, or on a chain and the owner was never home. The caller also voiced concerns about the dogs breaking free of the kennel and running at large on their property.

A vehicle was allegedly dropped off in someone’s yard on Zimmerman Road in Kalispell and they didn’t know if it was stolen or not.

A woman calling from U.S. 2 in Kalispell told officers her ex attacked her and stole her vehicle and phone.

Kalispell Police Department responded to a report of a man reportedly holding down a kicking and screaming 16-year-old in a parking lot while three other men watched on Second Avenue East after she supposedly tried to break into a car.

An employee allegedly found heroin in needles, stolen gift cards and several other stolen items in a room where two men and a woman were kicked out.

A woman allegedly called police about concerns that something was going on at a motel and she had to be out by tomorrow morning, but had nowhere to go. Officers made contact with her and reportedly determined she “was mostly concerned about how she was going to get cigarettes with no money,” and she her ex-husband was making arrangements to reunite her with out-of-state family.
