Sliters revives DreamBuilders Playhouse fundraiser

| March 4, 2020 2:00 AM

Longtime locally owned, Sliters Lumber & Building Supply is unveiling a custom DreamBuilders Playhouse at the Home & Garden Showcase Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8, reviving a 14-year tradition. The playhouse will be raffled off and all proceeds will be donated to four local children’s charities: The Nurturing Center, CASA for Kids of Flathead County, Bigfork ACES After School Program and the West Shore Food Bank Backpack Program.

After a seven-year hiatus, a new generation of kids will have a chance to win their own DreamBuilders Playhouse. Sliters’ professionals have meticulously crafted the playhouse using many favorite products.

“Our team put a lot of heart into the design process with the hope that kids will enjoy the playhouse for many years to come,” said Andrea Sliter Goudge of Sliters Lumber & Building Supply. “The playhouse allows us to demonstrate the quality of our products while giving back to the Flathead Valley we love.”

“Sliters has been a big part of the DreamBuilders program since it started, and we’re excited they’re resurrecting it,” said Jen White, operation manager of The Nurturing Center. “We love partnering with them to fundraise and help support kids in our community.”

Raffle tickets are available for purchase until April 17 at all Sliters Lumber & Building Supply locations in Bigfork, Somers and Lakeside and through the four children’s charities. Tickets are $10 each or 11 for $100. Tickets will also be available at the Home & Garden Showcase at the Flathead County Fairgrounds. Online purchases may also be made through The Nurturing Center’s site at bit.ly/Playhouse2020. During the raffle period, a calendar of playhouse locations around the valley will be posted at Sliters.com/raffle. The drawing will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at the Bigfork Sliters location.
