Glacier trips Libby, 9-1

LIBBY – Payton Davisson doubled twice and drove in three runs and Zach Veneman threw six strong innings to lead the Class A Glacier Twins to a 9-1 win over Libby Tuesday.

Veneman helped his own cause with two hits and an RBI; he scattered four hits and fanned nine while walking one.

Jacob Polumbus threw three innings of one-hit relief, fanning three, to pick up the save.

Mason Peters and Devon Beale also had two hits for Glacier. Peters, Beale, Cade Morgan and Davisson each scored twice.

Ayden Williamson drove in Libby’s lone run – Caden Williams – with a sixth-inning double.
