Woman has a bone to pick with neighbors

A woman reportedly gave dog bones to a neighbor and then another neighbor began spreading rumors about her, so the dog bones were returned with a “nasty letter” left on her car. The woman told Kalispell Police Department she was concerned the situation could escalate into criminal mischief because they touched her car.

Employees were seal coating a parking lot, which supposedly raised a neighbor’s hackles who tried to stop them by “watering down” the lot. The cantankerous man also yelled obscenities.

Someone received a citation for stealing candy and was released.

Candy was reportedly found spread out in an area behind a gas station and someone wanted police to know because they were concerned a child might take it.

A truck was allegedly driving, and swerving, on two flat tires on the driver’s side of the vehicle.

A woman at a thrift store reportedly told a man he was stealing when he took a backpack from a donation area, but he claimed it belonged to him because things had been stolen from his storage unit.

A man found lying in a yard claimed he was just taking a nap because his house was too hot.

An employee was outside smoking when a woman allegedly walked up to a car, opened the driver’s side door and punched a woman in eye. The punch was purportedly about her husband asking for a ride earlier and he said to confront the woman.

Friends of an ex allegedly kept driving by the house of a man’s new girlfriend and yelling at them.
