Woman looking for privacy before prayer

Kalispell Police Department received of a report about a woman hiding behind an apartment electrical box who purportedly looked like she was up to no good. A busybody supposedly shined a flashlight on the box and she didn’t move. Police made contact with the woman, who claimed she wanted a private place to have a phone call before she headed back to a church to pray.

A “very young” driver was allegedly seen racing a low-to-the-ground small car with a “very loud” exhaust system on Wolfpack Way. The driver was said to be going 40 to 50 mph in a parking lot.

A store manager wanted to talk to an officer about the negative feedback he reportedly received from customers regarding campers in the parking lot. The manager wanted an officer to tell remaining campers to leave and post “no trespassing” signs.

Someone allegedly heard people fighting downstairs and children screaming “daddy, no,” for 20 minutes. The people involved reportedly said they were just wrestling.

“This is not an emergency or anything else,” was the way a man began to report an issue with a woman who came out to an alleyway threatening to call the police because he was smoking a cigarette. He wanted the incident documented in case she followed up with threats to attack him.

A man lying in the street and a half finished bottle of whiskey were allegedly found by someone on Seventh Street West who asked him if he needed help, to which he responded “(expletive) you.” The man was taken to the emergency room for a swollen eye.

Someone on Whitefish Stage reportedly thought a person crawled through the window of a trailer because it was propped open and a cooler was positioned under it. A truck also supposedly kept driving by.

A mental-health check was requested for a man who was allegedly yelling and screaming inside a building. The situation escalated when he reportedly said if someone he knew walked through the door he would slice their throat and eventually left. Police made contact with the man on U.S. 93 South. Detention staff asked police to take a knife and a handsaw allegedly on the man for safekeeping.

A woman alleged she was attacked by a man who stomped on her back, slammed her head around, hit her with a walking stick and his hands and hurt her dog because he thought she had something that belonged to him.

A man claimed he was being extorted after he exchanged nude pictures with a woman he didn’t know through Facebook messenger and she was threatening to send the images to friends and family unless he paid her. The man later reportedly discovered the account seemed to be fictitious and was taking steps to report the incident to Facebook.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a woman on Harmony Road Kalispell who wanted to document alleged harassment by neighbors who would reportedly come to her door and wake her up because of her loud alarm clock, in addition to shutting off her power and water heater when they were upset with her. She sought advice from deputies because she didn’t know how to deal with it since the person was purportedly friends with the landlord.

A screaming woman on Willow Glen Drive in Kalispell was reportedly playing music and trying to rip a “T” post out of the ground. Officers gave the woman advice and sent her on her way.
