Virtual event to replace annual ALERT fundraiser

| April 5, 2020 1:00 AM

Due to COVID-19, Kalispell Regional Healthcare has opted to cancel its 42nd annual A.L.E.R.T. banquet scheduled for April 25 at the Flathead County Fairgrounds. The decision was made in collaboration with the A.L.E.R.T. Advisory Board, in order to adhere to current state restrictions, the hospital stated in a press release.

In place of the banquet, Kalispell Regional will be hosting the “A.L.E.R.T. Social Distancing Ball” at 7 p.m. on May 28. This virtual event will be released as a video on the Kalispell Regional Healthcare Facebook page and will also be housed on its website. The ball will consist of messages from the A.L.E.R.T. Advisory Board chair, Kalispell Regional’s CEO, A.L.E.R.T.’s chief pilot and medical director, the KRH Foundation’s president, and a few others. The presentation will also feature the annual Triple Divide Award presentation, the prize raffle, and a tribute to the late Dr. Jack Davis.

Due to the cancellation, ticket holders are being offered a full refund if they desire. However, if they choose to keep their ticket for the Social Distancing Ball, they will be entered into the prize drawing, where more than $20,000 worth of cash and gift certificates from local restaurants and small businesses will be raffled off.

To purchase a ticket to be entered into the raffles, contact Lori Alsbury for more information at 752-1710.
