BUTTE — Madison Becker scored a hat trick as the Glacier Wolfpack routed the Butte Bulldogs 5-0 in Western AA soccer on Saturday.

“Extremely proud of the whole team and their patience against an up and coming Butte squad who never backed down,” Glacier coach Brenden Byrd said. “The girls rebounded extremely well after a close loss to Hellgate last Thursday.”

Byrd called freshman Abby Foster’s late score from 25 yards out “an absolutely ripper goal.”

The Wolfpack’s defensive line only allowed two shots on goal and none inside the 18-yard box.

“Overall we are in a great place headed into the Helena weekend,” Byrd said.

Glacier is second in Western AA at 7-2-1 and will play a road game against Helena at 5 p.m on Friday.
