Randy Stultz of the Kalispell Lakers has been named to the Class AA Montana/Alberta American Legion all-state baseball team.

The Lakers also had four players selected to the all-conference team — shortstop Connor Drish, outfielder Ryan Symmes and pitchers Wesley Palmer and Logan Siblerud.

Stultz had a .351 batting average. He had five home runs, drove in 42 runs and struck out only 18 times in 171 at-bats. He walked 41 times.

“Ryan Symmes and Wes Palmer had all state-worthy seasons,” Lakers coach Ryan Malmin said.

“We are incredibly proud of all our kids and the commitment and intense attention to details it demands daily to be a yearly upper echelon program and player in AA Legion baseball. We appreciate coaches around the state who recognized Randy, Ryan, Wes, Logan and Connor.”

Palmer was 10-1 on the mound ... lost his last game in the eighth inning with two outs with opponents hitting .223 in 83.33 innings. Symmes was one of the top defensive outfielders with 30 plus RBI and 30-plus stolen bases and hit .346.

The state champion Bozeman Bucks led all-state selections with five. The Missoula Mavs were next with three.
