Nuce HRs for Lakers A in 7-2 win over Twins A

WHITEFISH — Hank Nuce homered and drove in three runs for the Kalispell Lakers A in a 7-2 American Legion baseball victory over the Glacier Twins A on Wednesday evening at Memorial Field.

The Lakers (1-1) broke a 2-all tie with a five-run fourth inning.

Luke Halland, 2 for 3, had two RBIs for the Lakers A and Ben Corriveau, 2 for 3, doubled twice.

Kalispell plays a nonconference doubleheader in Helena on Sunday. Glacier (1-2) is home for a nonconference doubleheader on Saturday versus the Mission Valley Mariners A.

Lakers AA 10, Mariners A 3

POLSON — Five pitchers combined on a 2-hitter, Jonathan Craver and Taylor Morton slapped doubles and Randy Stultz homered in the Kalispell Lakers AA victory over the Mission Valley Mariners A on Tuesday evening.

The Lakers AA scored in every inning but the eighth and collected 14 hits.

Morton led the offense, going 3 for 4 and driving in two runs.

Payton Davison, 2 for 5, and Luke Halland, 2 for 6, also had two RBIs each.

Stultz, Craver and Connor Drish also had two hits each.

Sharing mound duties were West Palmer, Ryan Galvan, Jack Corriveau, Logan Siblerud and Morton.

The Lakers AA are back in action Sunday in Helena for a nonconference doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
