TENNIS: Bigfork netters lose to Loyola

MISSOULA — Missoula Loyola easily handled Ronan and Bigfork in a tennis dual on Thursday.

The Loyola boys defeated both visiting teams 4-2, and the girls took a 6-0 decision against Ronan before beating Bigfork 5-1.

The Bigfork boys dropped all four singles matches against the Rams but rebounded to take both doubles battles.

Colton Reichenbach and Clayton Reichenbach defeated Loyola’s David Ramsey and Dan Kaleva 6-2, 6-2, and Nick Paulson and Nate Frizell picked up another win for the Vikings with an 8-3 victory over Jaden Job and Gharrett Diehl.

The Bigfork girls’ lone win came courtesy of Ellie Berreth, who topped Grace Daniel in No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-0.
