Celebrating the valley’s Christmas spirit all year round

By Steve Holyoak

In the last two years I have been involved in several service projects where time, talents and materials have been donated by our community to help those in need. I want to thank all who show they have the Christmas spirit all year round.

The projects I worked on included helping in building a small home for a young couple so they could adopt children and supplying a water well for a widowed grandmother raising her three special needs grandchildren.

Donated time and materials:

Chambers Drilling

2M company

Northwest Pipe

LHC Concrete

Western Building Center

Home Depot

Plumb-Rite Plumbing

Dakota Supply Group

Master Plumbing

BigHorn Custom Homes

Discounted materials or loaned tools and equipment:

Chambers Drilling

Knife River Concrete

LHC Concrete

Glacier Steel

Cost Less Carpet

Nelcon Construction

C.J. Construction

Compass Crowd Enterprises

There were also many iother ndividuals from the valley who donated labor, extra materials or loaned us tools to assist in the completion of these projects. I’m very happy to live in a community where people care about others around them and are willing to help those in need. This is just an example of all that our communities accomplish to help each other.

Good job, Flathead Valley. I’m proud of you!
