A concerned Kalispell father told Flathead County Sheriff’s Department that a 26-year-old man in Wisconsin was reportedly contacting his 15-year-old daughter and that after blocking the man on a social media account the two continued contacting each other through someone else’s account and through texts. The father was given advice on temporary restraining orders, contacting Wisconsin authorities and how to handle the parenting issue.

Officer’s received a call from a child abuse hotline that a parent had reportedly been drinking and sprayed bear spray under a door to get a 12- and 13-year-old out of the room.

A man “tore out” of a Kalispell restaurant parking lot on U.S. 2 East after he reportedly didn’t pay his $13 tab. The restaurant didn’t want to press charges and the man’s father reportedly said he would pay the bill.

A real estate agent wanting to sell a Whitefish property reportedly wanted to know whether an adjacent property was a medical marijuana dispensary or not.

A Whitefish man was not happy that another man reportedly came to his house threatening him and had also been sending him threatening text messages stemming from their children being involved in a school bus incident.

A man went to the Kalispell residence of another man who allegedly owed him money. When he got there, the resident reportedly pulled a gun and put it up to his chest.

A Martin City woman on U.S. 2 East told officers that someone “stole her water.” She called back to report she had found her water and did not need any more assistance from law enforcement.

Road rage was reported on U.S. 93 South in Whitefish when a vehicle supposedly stopped in the middle of the road, a man flipped someone off and got out of his truck.

Someone reportedly asked a friend to leave after an invitation to drink at their Columbia Falls residence supposedly got violent and a threat was made to hit the other person in the head with a screwdriver. The friend also reportedly kept banging on the door, which may have instigated the threat.

A good citizen on Coram Stage Road in Coram told law enforcement that a truck was reportedly trying to move off railroad tracks after being stuck there for about 20 minutes. The woman was concerned a train would come by. She called back later to report the truck made it off the tracks.

A man on Dakota Avenue told Whitefish Police Department he reportedly got into a verbal altercation with another man over snow removal when the other man tried to get into his truck.

Someone on Baker Avenue was concerned about a girl who looked to be 14 or 15 who allegedly had abrasions on one leg and a derogatory word for a woman carved into her other leg.
