Stillwater Christian School roared back from a slow start to down the Flathead High School JV 11-25, 25-18, 27-25, 25-17 on Tuesday in its final home volleyball match of the season before hosting the MCAA state tournament.

The Lady Cougars were led by Julia Bray, 11 kills, Abby Smith, 19 assists and three blocks, and Dana Topp, 13 digs and five aces.

The victory improves SCS's overall record to 15-1 heading into a Thursday battle at Troy.

The Lady Cougars close out regular-season play at Hot Springs on Friday.

The state tournament begins Oct. 16.

Missoula Home School defeated Stillwater in five games to win the state title last year in Billings. SCS was going for a 3-peat.
