The official Election Day may not be until Nov. 6, but voting begins Tuesday in Flathead County and across Montana for this fall’s general election.

Absentee ballots (17,000 of them in Flathead County) go in the mail on Tuesday, which also is the day people not on the mailing list can begin to vote through the Flathead County Election Department.

Anyone with any interest in the direction our country is going has made up their minds long ago as to which candidate they will vote for. Yes, we are all tired of the ads, but no amount of propaganda and lies from the repubs will change our minds. There are candidates listed some of us are not familiar with and it is easy to check them out also as to whether they are for us, or against us. There are many issues to be decided on , it is very helpful to study these in the peace and quiet of our own homes and make intelligent decisions. I understand there are those who are only interested in voting for the "winning team". Just so they can say they voted for the winners I guess. They are your undecided voters.

In this election, there are some very clear choices. Want communism and continuing chaos? Well then vote for Obama. Want a butt-kissing Senator? Vote for Tester. Want to better the situation and better the odds for economic improvement and freedom? Vote Republican.
